loganf.JPGMy mother likes to live in her own little world which she makes larger and larger each day through fictional books. My Father is a video game addict who tries hard to be a good parent but can't stay out of jail or prison. My grandfather is a retired cop who has a leg problem so now I have to help him out of his chair at least once daily. My Grandmother is a nurse's aid that works in a place filled with idiot nurses, crazy residents (which I would love to toy with) and its somehow called a nursing home instead of an asylum. My Grandfather is a war veteran wanting to die. My three brothers drive me to insanity on occasions.
My sister is too sweet for her own good. My sister and one of my brothers lives with their dad who sits on a couch all day and won't even pay for the damages if their glasses break, he just tapes them or glues them together.

My pet is a Yellow Lab, we had a black one but it had a heart attack as soon as I went to school in 2nd grade. He survived but he couldn't walk, stand up, or eat so they put him down. I also had a few fish but they died...fair bought fish.

My favorite colors are, blue, red, and black. My favorite food is turkey. I don't have any real hobbies.

An animal I think I compare to is an Arctic Hare because I'm a night person.

  • Animals in the tundra survive by having thick fur coats.
  • By blending in with their surroundings.
  • By having thick layers of fat.
  • And small animals breeding faster.

  • The plants are small and roots are shallow to skim the thin unfrozen layer on top of the permafrost.
  • They grow close to the ground and close together, helping them to resist the effects of cold weather, and reduce damage caused by snow and ice particles driven by the cold winds.
  • They use the long hours of sunlight to develop and produce flowers quickly in the short season.
  • Plants have the ability to grow under a layer of snow, and to carry out photosynthesis in extremely cold temperatures.

CLIMATE
  • During the long winter months the sun barely rises and it is dark for most of the day.
  • Precipitation totals 6-10 inches of rain a year, which includes melted snow.
  • The average temperature of the warmest month is below 50° F.
  • The tundra seems like a wet and soggy place because the precipitation that falls evaporates slowly, and because of the poor drainage caused by the permafrost.
